Palm Sunday Benefit Dinner (Parish Auditorium) – April 9th, 2017

The 50th annual Palm Sunday benefit dinner will be held on April 9, 2017 in St. Vitus Auditorium, 6111 Lausche Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44103. Dinner will be served from 11AM-to-1:30PM with sit-down or take-out dinners available. Cost is $15/adult and $10/ child 12 years-old or younger. Menu consists of roasted chicken, roast beef, home-made soup, potatoes, side veggie plate, salad, roll and butter and home-made pastry.

St. Vitus KSKJ Lodge #25 and Christ The King KSKJ Lodge #226 are sponsoring this event as a “KSKJ Matching Grant” event. Each lodge can match up to a maximum of $1,000. The designated charities are Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services (MRS) and Joseph House of Cleveland Inc. (JHCI). JHCI works with MRS to resettle immigrants coming to Cleveland, Ohio. Its secondary mission is to provide clothing to all new immigrants and St. Clair Avenue neighborhood residents. The goal of this event is to raise $20,000: $10,000 for ongoing support and $10,000 to continue remodeling work to expand distribution of clothing. Come witness the colorful Slovenian costumes and “butare”; and then enjoy good company and food in the parish auditorium to support a good cause!
