Holy Week Services At St. Vitus Church/Parish

All parishioners, friends, benefactors, and Catholics in northeast Ohio are encouraged to attend services during Holy Week, beginning with Palm Sunday Mass(es). All other parish activities do not occur during Holy Week. May Holy Week bring us joy of knowing that we are all redeemed. Palm Sunday Weekend; (Mar. 19, 2016) Sat. Vigil Mass, 4:00PM. Sunday Masses with Procession: (Mar. 20, 2016): 9:00AM and 10:30AM. Annual Palm Sunday benefit dinner in parish auditorium, 11AM to 1:30PM, sit-down and take-out dinners.  Support work of an orphanage. Auditorium is located by the church, at 6111 Lausche Avenue, Clev., OHio 44103. Call the parish rectory at (216) 361-1444 to reserve “will-call” tickets for the dinner. Only 530 tickets available.

Tenebrae, (Mar. 23, 2016, Wed.) Solemn Prayers. (Wed.): 7:30PM.

Holy Thursday (Mar. 24, 2016) Mass of The Lord’s Supper, 7:30PM. Adoration of Blessed Sacrament: 8:30PM-to-11:00PM.

Good Friday: (Mar. 25, 2016) Stations of The Cross, Noon and 3:00PM, Celebration of the Lord’s Passion and Death, 7:30PM.

Holy Saturday: (Mar. 26, 2016) Blessing of Food at 1:00PM and 3:00PM. Easter Vigil Mass: 8:30PM.

Easter Sunday: (Mar. 27, 2016) Mass of Resurrection of Our Lord at 7:00AM and 10:00AM Mass.

Confession Schedule: Mar 23: 7-7:30PM.; Mar. 24: 6:45PM-7:15PM, Mar. 25: 11:30AM-Noon and 2:30PM-3:00PM; mar. 26: 12:30PM-1:00PM and 2:30PM-3:00PM.
