Food Collection Drive: Oct 29-Dec 4, 2017, St. Vitus Church

Parishioners, friends, and visitors to St. Vitus Church are encouraged to bring and drop-off canned and dry food products such as macaroni, tuna, noodles, canned vegetables, canned fruit, and other such items from Oct. 29-to-Dec. 4, 2017 in cooperation with American Mutual Life Association (AMLA), an American Slovenian fraternal benefit society domiciled in the state of Ohio and serving primarily in northeast Ohio. St. Anne Lodge #4 AMLA is the affiliated lodge with St. Vitus Parish.

Designated containers are labeled  “AMLA” in the main and side church entrances (i.e., vestibules) where these items are to be dropped off. At the end of this food drive the items will be then delivered to the Greater Cleveland Bank or designated food pantries in northeast Ohio. Weekend Masses at St. Vitus Church are on Saturday at 4:00PM and on Sunday at 9:00AM and 10:30AM. Hundreds of pounds of food each year has been raised for people in need in this manner.

Contact AMLA at (216) 531-1900 for additional information or the parish rectory at (216) 361-1444.
