Christmas Schedule at St Vitus Parish: 

Weekend Dec 17 and 18, 2022: Saturday Vigil Mass, 4:00PM. Sunday Masses: 9:00AM and 10:30AM.

Christmas Eve (Dec. 24, 2022, Saturday): 4:00PM Mass.

11:30PM Christmas Prelude, Christmas Songs.

12:00AM, Midnight Mass.

Christmas Day (Dec. 25, 2022, Sunday): 10:00AM Mass.

New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31, 2022, Saturday): 4:00PM Mass.

New Year’s Day (Jan. 1, 2023, Sunday): One All Parish Mass, 10:00AM. Followed by Concert Of Sacred Songs, 11:30AM and then social, food, refreshments, fellowship in new parish hall                                      (directly across the street from St. Vitus Church). Secured parking.

In gratitude of parishioners, friends, and benefactors of the new parish hall and current parish “Heart Of A Shepherd” initiative, no admission charge for concert as well as social after in the new parish hall. This will be to start the observance of the 130th Year Anniversary of the founding of St. Vitus Parish (1893-2023). An All Parish Mass and “Concert of Sacred Songs” have been occurring since 1977. St. Vitus Christmas Choir consists of 40-to-50 soprano, alto, tenor or bass singers who sing in English, Slovenian, Latin, and Italian. The choir is under the direction of John F. Srsen. Accompanying the choir and organist will string musicians consisting of I Violin, II Violin, Viola, and Cello. The concert will feature the restored Holtkamp church pipe organ consisting of 1,500 wooden and metal pipes, three manuals and 30 ranks. St. Vitus Christmas Choir has been presenting “Concert of Sacred Songs” to the Greater Cleveland community since 1977. Compositions include but are not limited to “Hallelujah Chorus,” “And The Glory,” and “Glory To God” (composed by Handel), “Ave Maria (by Arcadelt),” and Bozji Nam Je Rojen Sin (Born Unto Us Is His Son, composed by Ivan Zupan). The Concert of Sacred Songs is free admission with good will offerings accepted. Attendees will be pleased with the food and refreshments after the concert: a perfect manner to enjoy good Liturgy, good singing, good company and good food. Our gratitude to the choir members and musicians who have so faithfully given their time and talents to present this concert for so many years. Thank you, choir members and musicians!!

Parking will be available across the street from the church and around the parish school and parish auditorium buildings.
