Christmas – Božič: 2019 Schedule

Dear Parishioners, Friends and Benefactors of St. Vitus Parish:

The message which the angels brought to the shepherds on that first Christmas night was a message of peace. Christ, the Prince of Peace, came that we might have peace in our hearts and in our homes. Our world has not grasped that sense of peace. We all are so much in need of Christ’s peace and love. Peace must begin within the hearts of each one of us. We must be at peace with ourselves and the world around us. This can come only through a close association with Christ and His Church. This is why we hole all of you will make the extra effort to receive the Sacraments and come to Mass as a family on Christmas. We are certain that if you do, the Spirit of Christmas will abide with you throughout the whole year. Below is listed the Christmas schedule. Dragi Farani, Prijatelji, in Dobrotniki:

Veselo sporocilo, ki so ga v prvi sveti noci angeli oznanili pastirjem; je bil pozdrav miru. Kristus, knez miru, je prisel na svet, da bi mi imeli mir v sovjih srcih in domovih. Svet ni dojel pomena miru. Vsi silno potrebujemo Kristusovega Miru. Mir mora zavladati v nasih srcih. Ziveti moramo v miru sami s seboj in s svetom okrog nas. To se more zgoditi le v tesni povezani s Kristusom in njegovo Cerkvijo. To je tudi razlog za nase upanje, da boste v teh dneh prejeli zakramente in se kot druzina udelezivi bozicnega bogosluzja. Prepricani smo, da, ce to storite, bo svettonocni mir vedo vladal v vasih druzinah! Prilozeni je bozicni spored. Vsem faramon, prijateljom in dobrotnikom, zelimo blagoslovljne praznike Gospodovega rojstva in srecno Novo leto 2020. Vasi duhovniki in farno osebe.
